middle distance triathlete
I wish I had worked with Izzy sooner.
Understanding my nutritional needs and how to fuel for my training load and events has been a real eye opener.
The mistakes I was making were a result of following the general advice in various periodicals. As with many things those tips are not bespoke to the athlete. Each one of us is different and our needs are not the same. Thanks to Izzy I am now training harder but recovering better. Whilst the man with hammer may be chasing, he is yet to land another blow.
If you are serious about getting the most out of yourself, working with Izzy is as essential as having a coach.
kidney failure patient
I recommend her highly, not only for her skills as a dietician but also because she really cares.
Izzy gave me the most knowledgeable and comprehensive support through the diagnosis of kidney failure and beyond. She helped me make the right decisions about diet and nutrition so that dialysis could be avoided for as long as possible. I recommend her highly, not only for her skills as a dietician but also because she really cares.
I will undoubtedly be coming back to her for more support and advice in the future.
I went to Izzy for several reasons: I had some health issues, wanted to ensure I wasn't losing muscle/was doing everything I could to gain muscle and also needed advice on fueling for a 100km ultra marathon.
Izzy is just so normal (and I mean this in a good way!) and so down to earth, and she was able to break it all down for me in easy-to-understand steps, so making changes didn't seem too overwhelming.
My stomach issues have been practically resolved, and the advice she gave me for fueling and better general health has been invaluable.
Izzy is professional, understanding, and a generally gorgeous human being. I will undoubtedly be coming back to her for more support and advice in the future.
