This privacy policy sets out how Isabel Anderson uses and protects any information that you provide to them. Isabel Anderson is committed to ensuring your privacy is protected and your data is stored in accordance with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) standards. Isabel Anderson complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (1998) to ensure data is handled lawfully and responsibly.

The data we collect enables us to contact you regarding our nutritional services. If you then decide to take up our services the data provided ensures we can provide you with individualised, effective and safe advice.

How we store your data

We keep electronic records incompliance with GDPR. These are only accessed by those people who are directly involved in your care. We keep these records for seven years before they are then deleted in accordance with our HCPC regulations. You can see a copy of these notes on request.

Isabel Anderson is currently working alongside Fay Kaina under the name of Yorkshire Sports Dietitians. As a Registered Dietitian she is also bound by the HCPC code of conduct. Some applications used by Isabel Anderson are joint with Fay Kaina such as SENPRO. Fay Kaina may therefore be able to see your name, date of birth and contact details in such shared applications. She will not look at your records unless you have given consent for her to do so.

If you have opted into our mailing list your contact details will be securely stored to enable us to keep you up to date with our offers and services.

All electronic notes and other personal identifiable information are kept on a securely password protected device/system.

All consultations are held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Your Rights Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:
• Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information held about you and to check that it is lawfully processed.
• Request correction of the personal information that is held.

• Request deletion or removal of personal information where there is no good reason for continuing to process it. In certain circumstances we can refuse to delete the information in question for example if involved in a legal claim.

• You hold the right to raise issue with the way your information is processed with the ICO.
